The Malaysian Oil Scientists and Technologists Association (MOSTA) is a group of professionals that are involved in the country’s oils and fats industry. They are the authority when it comes to its science & technology, trade, and commerce.
MOSTA was inaugurated in September 1989. They aim to advance and promote Malaysia’s oils and fats industry when it comes to Research, Training, Technology Transfers, and Development of Industry Standards.
Honorary Fellowship Awarded to Fusionex
Last May 2019, MOSTA bestowed an honorary fellowship for Fusionex Founder and Group CEO Dato’ Seri Ivan Teh for his substantial and noteworthy inputs to the country’s Palm Oil Industries. The ceremony was held at the event called “The Future of the Palm Oil Industry” held at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Fusionex committed to aiding the country’s palm oil sector through Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Industry Revolution (IR) 4.0. They will make use of all the data put together by the industry through digitizing and processing. Fusionex also talked to Malaysia’s industry leaders and players, scientists, and researchers about Trade Facilitation and the use of Blockchain, along with other beneficial applications.

Fusionex also made the first move by inventing a modern milling process and proposing a new way to market Malaysia’s palm oil to the region and the whole world. These technologies are crucial for the industry’s road to success.
